As Vice President Human Resources for Volvo Trucks International, you will be based in Gothenburg and belong to a fantastic leadership team; the Sales Area executive management team. You will report to the SVP of Volvo Trucks International.
You will also be part of the Volvo Trucks Senior HR network and will be responsible for coordinating the VTI HR network.

The role

As Vice President Human Resources for Volvo Trucks International, you will be responsible for driving the People and Health&Safety agenda at VTI.

You will be responsible for all strategic and operational HR areas, including but not limited to leader sourcing, leadership, talent development, succession planning, performance management, engagement, workforce planning and compensation & benefits.

You will support the SVP VTI and the SVP HR in converting business strategies into relevant HR strategies and operations. You will be a member of the VTI EMT and support/drive/coach the executive management team with their people agenda.

At VTI, we put Health, Safety and Well-being first! In this role, you will chair the H&S agenda and initiatives and ensure that the sales area continuously improves in the H&S journey. You will design the focus points on the H&S agenda and coordinate the VTI H&S network together with VT H&S.

The position works as a complete HR generalist. In 2022-2023, you will prioritise team development, talent management, diversity and inclusion, change management, workforce planning and communication.

With engagement and your communication, you will secure that the sales area HR Director network is onboarded with the business strategy, and they get support/challenge/coaching continuously.

You will be a present leader who enables the development, motivates relevant objectives and follows up the performance systematically, supporting and coaching the ultimate success of the employees and the business.
