Innovation Lab by Volvo Group Connected Solutions

Neuroscience-based software to detect driver behavior, accident-prevention systems for autonomous driving, smart charging for electric vehicles, and data connectivity and privacy are some of the innovations developed by the 11 startups that are joining MobilityXlab. They will now participate in the program for at least six months to co-create solutions for more efficient, cleaner and safer logistic and transport solutions.

Together with Ericsson, Volvo Cars, Veoneer, Zenuity, CEVT and hosted by Lindholmen Science Park we founded MobilityXLab. MobilityXlab offers young companies with pioneering ideas the opportunity to accelerate. We believe that by combining our strengths we can push the boundaries of innovation.

Our partner DRIVE is a leading innovation center for smart mobility technologies. At DRIVE startups gain meaningful market opportunities while Volvo Group are provided with early insights into the start-ups’ cutting edge technology. 

We want to be close to our customers and partners. Our Gothenburg Office is at Lindholmen Science Park, a dynamic area renown for collaboration across geographical borders. Lindholmen Science Park has become the most knowledge-intensive and expansive area in Gothenburg, and an important hub for the expanding city.

The Volvo Group California office is located at hub335 in the heart of Silicon Valley, the global center of technological innovation and home to many of the world’s largest technology companies, putting Volvo in the epicenter of this dynamic collaboration area.
