Talent Acquisition Partner – Volvo Group Trucks Technology

We are looking for colleagues that will have a key role in finding and matching talents for Volvo Group Trucks Technology, to secure that we have the talent we need in order to succeed with creating a better future for our society. You will be working with a variety of recruitments mainly focused on tech, while coaching and guiding managers and management teams with talent acquisition. With your support, we will secure world class technology development while attracting Volvo Group Trucks Technology’s future colleagues.

Our mission and your responsibilities:
Our talent acquisition function aims to assure that Volvo Group Trucks Technology attract and employ the best colleagues, working closely with managers and their management teams to make this happen both short- and long-term. Your role will be to attract, engage and recruit potential new employees to Volvo Group Trucks Technology; working with the full recruitment cycle from start to hire. This is done through working closely with business leaders and hiring managers to build the department’s people capability. You will also be responsible to:
  • Ensure that we hire top talent whose values are in line with Volvo Group values and culture, by screening, interviewing and conducting psychometric tests.
  • Act as an advisor and partner to the business; provide guidance and coaching to Hiring Managers to support current and future needs for building successful teams.
  • Maintain Volvo Group as the employer of choice; lead others and act in line with giving the best possible candidate experience as well leading and guiding others to do the same.
Who we believe you are:
We expect you to have a collaborative mindset and inspire trust, since this position is all about building relationships. As you will interact with internal as well as external stakeholders across various areas and positions, we also believe it is important that you are communicative and curious to understand the technology we work with. Since we are hiring in a challenging time and market, we also believe it is important to adaptive, find new ways of working with a can do-attitude in mind. We also believe you have:
  • A relevant educational background within HR, Business Administration, Service Management or another relevant field.
  • 360 cycle recruitment experience, working with sourcing as well as non-bias recruitment methods.
  • Certification and experience from working with psychometrics tests. We work with SHL assessment tools, if you have experience from SHL this will be considered a great advantage.
  • If you have experience from working with tech recruitment and/or management positions this will also be considered an advantage. We also see it as an advantage if you have experience from working in a global context and/or in an inhouse recruitment function.

We offer a flexible working model, giving you the possibility to work a few days a week from the office and a few days from home.
