Head of Finance

Job Summary:
As head of finance region China, lead a team of FP&A, dealer financial health and retail financing professionals. Oversee and secure the accuracy and quality of the job field, provides professional recommendations to management team, implement improvements in finance process.

Main Tasks/ Responsibilities / Authorities:

• Oversee and secure the accuracy and quality of monthly closing and reporting
• Responsible for the budgeting and forecasting cycle of sales Region China
• Work closely with various business functions and provide financial support and advise to the business team
• Oversee the dealer financial health function, monitor dealer financial risks and provide risk alerts to management
• Follow up on dealer AR credit impairments
• Coordinate with internal and external financing companies to provide retail financing solutions to dealers and customer
• Ensure business unit compliance with company’s policies and procedures as well as those of Melrose, IFRS, and other applicable guidelines
• Support financial internal and external audits, and balance sheet reviews for all applicable sites
• Manage, educate, and mentor staff / team of professionals.

Required knowledge & experience:

• Bachelor + degree, MBA/CPA is a plus
• 10 years of experience in financial planning, analysis and/or retail financing for automotive related industries
• 5 years of direct management experience of finance department
• Excellent computer skills; experience in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite; PBI, or other system knowledge
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English & Mandarin
• Able to collaborate well with senior executives, finance counterpart in headquarter and mentor/lead team members
• Strong business sense and analytical ability to develop and implement improvements or recommendations
