We are looking for you who wants to join our Service and Parts Vehicle team in Gothenburg. With aftermarket experience and knowledge of new technologies such as electro-mobility and automation. You have deep understanding of our end users in the workshop and experience in developing quality assured service, repair and spare parts solutions. You have worked with preventive maintenance procedures, and you have complete truck knowledge and documented experience of the Volvo Group products and systems. You are eager to learn new technology and you have a strong customer and quality focus and a team player mind-set.

As part of Service and Parts Engineering you will play a vital role in creating solutions that will contribute both to customer satisfaction and the Volvo Group results.

High-level Job description:

• Develop and maintain repair methods & standard times on component, system and vehicle level.
• Develop service procedures.
• Support the Volvo Brands and the different stakeholders with expertise from the aftermarket.
• Ensure that our literature fulfils Volvo Group’s safety and quality objectives.
• Support in the development and optimization of spare parts solution needed for technical repair.

Education and Skills

• Minimum Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience within automotive.
• Good technical knowledge of complete vehicles and its systems.
• Good computer skills.
• Trucks knowledge is meritorious.
• Meritorious with Aftermarket product and processes experience.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
