You will develop us

When targeting the next generation products and solutions demands increase on the control systems, functionality and software development. We are now enforcing our team working within Functional Safety.

In the role you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Volvo Penta processes for working according to the applicable functional safety standards. You will support technology and project development with expertise. Important parts of your role is to assess risk, facilitate our Functional Safety Engineers community and arrange trainings to educate the organization within all aspects of functional safety.

As the Functional Safety Leader at Volvo Penta you also participate in the Volvo Group Functional safety community. You drive Volvo Penta interests within standards and process development.

Are we the perfect match?

We believe that You have leadership experience and a good understanding of both the technical and business side of product development. You collaborate and have good communication skills, verbal as well as written.

We believe that you have practical experience in working with ISO 26262 or other functional safety standards. Knowledge within off-road and/or marine related standards is a merit.

Probably you have experience from facilitating safety or quality development such as Hazard Analysis or FMEA.

You likely have a technical degree within electronics or software development, otherwise equivalent through experience.
