System Engineer - Embedded Electronic Systems

Position Description
We are hiring! Are you an inspired and motivated system engineer looking to work with a team of passionate and clever engineers devoted to building a new tomorrow and shaping the future of transportation?.

As a system engineer you will be responsible for the Volvo CE system functionality within our HMI platforms. You will work in an agile team consisting of product owner, scrum master and engineers (system, hardware, verification and software). You and the team will define the use cases together, break it down to requirements and set the system architecture together with all stakeholders to provide a scalable, global and easy-to-maintain solution. In addition to providing the technical solutions you will also take part in pre-studies, demos and strategic choices.

We are the Embedded Electronic System (EES) function which is a part of the Technology organization at Volvo Construction Equipment. We are EES Operator Platform & EE HW and we develop and maintain the Software Frameworks and the EES Hardware (HW) palette for embedded systems within the operator domain.

Who are you?
You are an engineer with a relevant degree within computer science, electronics or equivalent. We expect you to have experience within at least two of the following areas: embedded systems, product development, software development and android systems. You have the willingness and capacity to accommodate the right level of competence fast.

You are a self-driven person with a positive can-do attitude and believe that inclusiveness and team effort are the keys for success in a complex world. You communicate well in English (both written and spoken), share your knowledge within the team and see the benefits of a diverse culture.
