Who Are We?

We are the Embedded Electronic System (EES) function which is a part of the Technology organization at Volvo Construction Equipment. We are EES Operator Platform & EE HW and we develop and maintain the EES Hardware (HW) palette and Software Frameworks for embedded systems. In our HW palette we have display control modules, electronic control units and sensors. Our components are the machine’s backbone which enables highest efficiency of the machine.

What We Offer?

Our team consists of a variety of cross-functional professionals like Electronic HW Engineers, Embedded Software Engineers and Product owner​s within the EES Operator Platform & EE HW.

As an Electronic HW Engineer, you will be involved in several interesting activities like release management and life cycle management of the ECU HW palette in our PDM system. You will defining TRs (Technical Requirements) for ECU hardware, have contact with external suppliers on regular basis, participate in activities like FMEA, EMC reviews, schematic reviews together with suppliers. You will provide technical support to the organization about ECU’s and collaborate with cross functional teams.

Who Are You?

You are structured and organized with a great team spirit. You are also having great communication and coordination skills. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, and you either speak Swedish or you are eager to learn.

You have a deeper understanding of electronic components like display control modules and electronic control units which you have gained from working in the industry or from relevant education in the Electrical and Electronics Engineering area.

Good to Have

You have shown an inspiring attitude towards your co-workers and your job. You are an open and creative person with a can-do attitude.
