Job description
At Group Real Estate (GRE) we have agreed to be the business partner in securing performance and driving transformation for Volvo Group. To be able to fulfill our target image, your contribution as VP South America Division will be crucial.
In this job you are accountable for the Group Real Estate operational and financial responsibility for all designated sites in South America. This includes property and facility management, projects, investments, divestments, leases, masterplans and stakeholder (TD/BA/GF) demands at strategical and tactical level.
Your main focus:

• You are responsible for preserving the operation and value of Volvo’s properties/facilities at country and site level, including the overall budget responsibility and follow up for income, costs and projects.
• You support the Volvo Group's current and future needs by initiating and executing on all property- and administrative projects.
• You secure good communication with our tenants, landlords and suppliers; giving advice, proposals and project management services - aligning business needs and demands with local colleagues and stakeholders.
• As a line manager you take the lead, guided by the Volvo Group leadership principles. You enthusiasticly drive and support your team to develop engagement, competence and an effective teamwork.

You are a member of the Real Estate Executive Management Team (REMT) and will report to the SVP Group Real Estate.

To be successful in this position you also need the following knowledge and experience:

• Master of Science/MBA or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge of skills and abilities.
• Proven leadership capabilities and minimum 10 years of senior line management experience, preferably in the real estate area or in leading positions within operations.
• Extensive experience in property- and facility management, including good knowledge of circularity and high interest in sustainable solutions.
• A good financial understanding as well as knowledge about the commercial vehicle industry.
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge about lean management, how to drive productivity and business satisfaction.
