Senior Software Engineer (.NET Developer)

Wanted Profile
Core Responsibilities

o Understand the user requirements, analyse such requirements and deliver design, development, and unit test services that support business requirements.
o Develop efficient software according to business requirements within given time frame.
o Ensure compliance with relevant IT Services processes, methods and tools, and business processes.
o Secure that the necessary and relevant review and audits are performed for the developed modules.
o Participate in architecture discussions and provide input.
o Create good practices and propose improvements

Required Competencies
Ø Mandatory Skills:
o In-depth understanding of the C#, .Net Framework (3.5 and above)
o Sound knowledge of building WEB applications using ASP.NET, and C#, MVC.
o Experience in Nhibernate OR Entity Framework
o Experience in JavaScript and any of the JavaScript frameworks like JQuery
o Experience in ADO.net, LINQ,
o Hands on Experience in Database SQL server 2008 and above
o Hands on experience on Web Service OR WCF and XML, consuming web services, understand serialization and deserialization model with web services.
o Hands-on coding

Ø Good to Have Technical Skills:

o Experience in HTML and CSS.
o Strong in TSQL and Implementation of SQL Server database objects.
o Experience with unit testing using tools such as MSTest, NUnit
o Experience using 3rd party components like Infragistics\\Telerik\\Kendo components.
o Knowledge on crystal reports and SSRS.
o JQuery-Mobile/AngularJS/HTML5
o Knowledge in TFS (Source Control), Visual Studio Team System.
o Knowledge of Middleware- Integration Tools- WebSphere MQ., TIBCO, BiZTalk
o Knowledge on Enterprise Library Application Block. – Exception Handling & Logging, Caching

Ø Mandatory Soft Skills:

o Flexible to work in Maintenance as well as Development Projects
o Ability to perform as an Individual Contributor
o Ability to technically guide and support team members within area of responsibility
