We find the next offering for them by combining insights across industry sectors, digital trends, and data from connected assets. We have a strong collaboration within all units within Volvo Group Connected Solutions who provide world leading solutions that support Volvo Group customers to achieve efficiency, sustainability and safety, by spearheading value creation through connectivity.
We are now looking for a Software Developer to join our Innovation Lab. You will join a small and diverse team of pioneers taking a new service idea towards a commercial solution. Your team will act very much like a small venture within the company and your activities will range from designing & building the new service as well as testing and maintaining back-end applications.
The role
You have strong experience of back-end development, particularly using Java and Spring. You have an understanding of front-end techs and cloud techs (e.g. AWS). Any additional knowledge in Microservices, Databases, User Experience and User Interface design is a strong merit. Similarly, native mobile development or React native skills are a nice add-on!

As a person you are passionate about creating new smart services and ready to contribute with new ideas powered by your interest in new developments and technologies. You have an open mindset, a willingness to explore and you are comfortable with a high level of uncertainty. Interview

Usually there is 1-3 rounds of interviews in our hiring process. The interviews can be by phone, online video or on-site. Further steps can include technical tests, assessment tests and references.
