Right now we are looking for a Design engineer to our Operator environment Haulers and Wheel loaders team. The position is for Wheel loader and Articulated Hauler cabs. The Cab design engineer role is to plan and execute smaller projects within the area of the complete cab. The tasks can vary from design updates to working with new technology.

What will you do?
With a product lifecycle mindset, you drive, coordinate, create and deliver correctly, completely and clearly documented design solutions. The aim is to produce design solutions that balance technical performance, manufacturability and material cost to ensure that the product will be profitable for Volvo CE and that we are considered as the No 1 choice by our customers.

What do you bring with you?
You are a true team player who also can work individually. You have a natural understanding of the customer needs. You are a solution-oriented person with the ability to see the bigger picture. You have experience from engineering tools, like CAD and PLM. What you don’t know today, you are eager and willing to learn. To be successful in this role you need to be a good communicator and have the ability to work cross functional and in multicultural teams.

Who are you?
You have a structured approach and are used to work as a part of a team, responsible for your deliveries. Challenges, you see as opportunities, and you also enjoy working together with people.
Preferably M.Sc or B.Sc, or experience from engineering.
