Who are we, your new colleagues?
We at Emission in-Vehicle Verification are an engaged team, working mainly with the measurement of on road emissions with PEMS (Portable Emission Measurement System). Our job and responsibility is an important part of the development of new products for Volvo Group, not only to fulfill the legislation but also to ensure our product requirements.
As part of our team, you will work with testing on prototype and customer vehicles. You will join a team of 15 people who works in a good atmosphere. We share a broad knowledge base and work closely together. We are now looking for a Test Engineer to join our team.

Your responsibilities in the role as Test Engineer:
In the role as PEMS engineer you will measure emissions in-vehicle with PEMS equipment, where the main target is to conduct reliable and repeatable PEMS tests. You will be responsible for planning and preparing the test, ensuring the quality during testing, analyzing, validating and documenting the results. Alongside performing tests, an important part is to be a team player contributing to our supporting culture and drive the team forward.

It will be highly valued in this position that you have a positive attitude with a drive to deliver results and having an analytical approach as well as an eye for details, since we work with testing and quality assurance. This, in combination with the ability to approach problems and situations with a holistic view when needed, will be important for this position
We also believe it is important to have:

• Relevant educational degree or equivalent experience
• Experience from engine or EATS development, vehicle testing, or emission testing
• Fluent in English (both spoken and written)
• Analytical and organized
• Fault tracing skills
• Team working skills
• Flexible
• License for truck (C/CE) is a merit
