Volvo Group Design is the design function for the Group’s brands and business areas. The team provides design to products, digital solutions and services from the three studios located in Gothenburg, Sweden, Lyon, France and Greensboro NC, US.

WHAT CHALLENGES DO WE OFFER?
Volvo group Design is now hiring an Order Office coordinator to represent Volvo Group Design in planning and invoicing activities and to be the financial and administrative support to Volvo Group Design management.
In this role you will ensure and execute local accounting, financial management and compliance for all legal entities. Ensure accurate and timely consolidated financial reporting and compliance for the Volvo Group. Manage and develop processes and optimal utilization connected to both local accounting, reporting and consolidation. Prepare and communicate financial reports to meet management demands and external requirements.
This position also entails cross functional business support between the Volvo brands business areas including invoicing and to follow up invoicing and hours spent with Local Financial Controller/Site Manager/Design Director(s)/Project Manager(s).
The responsibilities include coordinating the portfolio of orders, follow-up spend rate and secure renewal of orders and that project estimates are established reviewed and updated. Receive request for non-GTT initiated work, coordinate estimate, retrieve order information, secure WBS elements for time follow-up, create invoices, and handle follow-up questions.
In your role you will also support Volvo Group Design Management in budget and planning issues as well as support the local financial controller in budget related activities.

WHO ARE YOU?

As a person you are well organized and structured. You find working with people as interesting as keeping track of the number. You have great communication skills and you enjoy using your team player mindset to network and contribute to creating high performing teams.

We also see that you have:
  • Fully proficient knowledge in English, both written and spoken
  • 3-5 years of experience within the financial field
  • Professional administration skills
  • MS in Economics
Previous experience from Volvo Group and experience from Design Studio environment are merits for this position as well as knowledge of the VOLVO Tools/systems

In this position you will report to the manager for the Site and Studio and will be placed in Gothenburg.
