Then we have an opportunity for you! Product finance engineering team in Gothenburg within Volvo GTT, is now looking for Senior Product Finance Engineers. Technology areas we need to strengthen are powertrains and transmissions for our new zero emission vehicles, electrical and vehicle connectivity.

JOB DESCRIPTION
You are responsible for:

• Optimize concept selections from a profitability and product cost perspective.
• Develop and drive product cost roadmap activities.
• Provide profitability analyses and business cases from a product cost perspective.
• Deliver product cost estimates as a base to drive cross functional decisions.
• Challenge the technical development from a product cost perspective.

WHO ARE YOU?
Required knowledge/experience

• Master of Science or equivalent.
• Experience from the automotive industry.
• Minimum 5-7 years of working experience in product or production development within mechanical and or electrical area combined with a strong understanding of product cost management
• Experience and/or knowledge about powertrains and transmissions for zero emission vehicles, electrical, vehicle connectivity or chassis.
• Ability to combine the business and technical mind-set to guide and influence the product development decisions from a financial perspective.
• Good English communication skills, both spoken and written.
