Technology is a new function within Group IT with a big stake in the Group’s digital transformation and we are part of the RPA Digital Technologies unit. We will modernize Volvo’s core digital backbone, to provide a E2E platform. Our Foundational IT products are used by digital product teams and enable them and their products to outperform Volvo’s competitors. Our digital talents develop capabilities and digital technologies to improve business performance and create value for the Group with speed and at scale.
We collaborate with other parts of the organization, both in Digital & IT, with TD/BAs and Group Functions. We foster an environment where ideas, thoughts and opinions can be shared. We are team players with clear common ambitions, and we win together!
This is how you could make an impact
As a RPA Solution Leader, you will identify automation opportunities in TD/BAs and design RPA Solutions & Frameworks. You will function as an integrator between the business and technology to create solutions for business stakeholders based on requirements. This role will provide technical leadership and guidance for RPA developers during project delivery.
You will, as a Solution Leader, be reporting to the Delivery Manager.
In this role you will be responsible to …
Assess automation opportunity from technical perspective and provide solution Anticipate, identify, track, and resolve technical issues and risks affecting delivery Perform detailed estimations towards the finalized in-scope processes planned under development sprints Be a SPOC for specific business stakeholder and provide technical solutions, effort estimation, and delivery strategy to our Business Units Lead and assist a team of developers through project completion Define complexity of the process in terms of Robotic Process Automation delivery Develop Detail Process Description – PDD (Process Description Document) and detailed SDD (Solution Design Document) for larger Automations Deliver demos, technical trainings, and support for stakeholders Grow and identify RPA opportunities within Volvo Group
Who are you? You are a natural, courageous & dynamic Leader, with strong communication, risk taking, networking and futuristic ideas. Ability to manage a technical team, mentor and support them in their delivery activities Have a holistic idea and very much aligned with the organisation strategies. Passionate about new technologies, curious to learn, courageous to try and fail faster Experience and certification n RPA products – Uipath and Power platform (power automate) and have a good understanding on cloud computing - service models and set up Be familiar and understand Volvo internal processes and systems and at the same time well connected with external industry & other RPA products
You will be a good fit if
You have 6 - 8 or more years of experience working in Uipath (RPA) Advanced and good understanding on Power Automate You have a strong foundation and core experience working with application development for at least for 3 - 4 years. You have good experience working in larger RPA Implementation programs, Process Mining & Re-engineering You need to have advanced certifications in Uipath & related Products You have a genuine interest in people and can inspire, motivate & coach the teams to do great things together You consider yourself a good problem-solver and have good analytical and critical thinking skills You are customer focused with the ability to work closely with business stakeholder, managing stakeholder requirements
The location for the position is Bangalore (BLR).
