This is what your new colleagues do

Electronic Hardware and Testing is a diversified, cross functional group, with responsibility spans from design of wire harness to system for our Industrial & Marine control as well as owning range of electrical power system components, Sensors and team developing test infrastructure HiLs to the teams in emerging areas like electro mobility both on land and Sea.

We now looking for you who is curious and have genuine interest in sustainability to be part of our growing team as experienced system requirement engineer. Using both your knowledge and curiosity to find the best solutions together with your colleagues in EH&T.

What you will do

As a Requirements Engineer within EH&T, you will define and own the requirement process for the areas of control system, testing and power components. This includes feasibility analyses, defining software and process verification criteria, and balancing internal and external stakeholders. You will ensure agreement of requirements with legal codes as well as documentation. You will focus on quality and consistency of the software requirements of our product area, while defining validation criteria together with our software developers. You will ensure that our requirements are both comprehensive and thoroughly described. You will negotiate new requirements with our stakeholders, while you continuously inform our developers about updates. You will carefully keep track of change requests, project timelines, and gaps between requirements and implementation. You will be the central contact of our area when it comes to requirement handling and improvement to ensure a world-leading software platform.

You and your skills
Mandatory requirements

  • You have 3+ years of industry experience in handling requirements, such as requirement analysis, breakdown, specification documentation (SRS), and refinement of requirements.
  • You have been working with system weaver or any requirement management applications.
  • You show proven excellence in handling embedded software systems
  • You have good knowledge in Functional Safety ISO26262.
  • You’re a holder of a university degree within Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or similar
  • You are fluent in spoken and written English

Good to have

  • You have good knowledge in ISO 26262 ( HARA, FSA, TSA)
  • You have work experience as function owner.
  • Experience of the DVP process (Develop Product & Aftermarket Product Portfolio) is a merit.
  • You have experience in testing electronic control units.
  • You have knowledge in design and development of HiL systems like NI, dSPACE, Vector.
  • You are an excellent networker and surely cross-functional with great communication skills
  • You are result-oriented, with a high level of engagement and a strong enthusiasm
  • You have been working successfully in an agile or lean environment
  • Your “think-outside-of-the-box-attitude” is valued by your co-workers
  • You have fun teaching and explaining complex correlations
