The Software Solutions group within Powertrain Strategic Development is looking for a Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle (FCEV) Simulation Engineer with focus on developing and performing FCEV simulations to evaluate different Fuel Cell electric propulsion concepts and control strategies based on customer representative driving cycles.

The Software Solutions group consists of a team of dedicated experts that are responsible for developing, implementing, and testing Embedded Software Solutions to ensure the Fuel Cell propulsion system functionality and performance. This is done using both virtual simulation tools and physical vehicle testing. We have high expertise in System Modelling and Simulations, Control Development, Software Implementation and Data Analytics.

THIS IS THE ROLE

As a FCEV Simulation Engineer you will develop simulation models, perform high-level as well as detailed and complex simulations and analysis, and take responsibility for the fidelity of the results through all stages of the product development, from concept development to feature verification. You will invent and implement new simulation tools and methods within FCEV simulations.

Another part of the role is to summarize and communicate results from complex analysis as a base for decision making.

THIS IS YOU

To be successful in this role and enjoy your work we believe that you have a broad technical background in a powertrain domain area with expert knowledge in automotive simulation tools, are passionate about mathematical modelling, complex simulations, and analysis of big amount of data.

You are exploratory and innovative with the ability to drive things to completion, which means that being proactive and willing to take ownership is something you enjoy. Since we are a global organization, it is important that you are fluent in spoken and written English, like teamwork and interaction with people and that you can communicate effectively.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. or Ms.c in Engineering with focus on Mathematical Modelling & Simulation
• Team player with the mindset to support others and ask for help when needed
• Action oriented and eager to actively learn new technology
