Mobile Software Architect

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic person to take part in global mobile projects.

Mobile&XR team is a very dynamic, open and adaptive team mixing many skills and competences to keep ahead of mobile world changes. We have Developers, IT Architects, BAs, Testers, Support Specialists, Designers & PMs. Most of us working in a couple of roles in the agile way.
We are part of Digital Technology department within Volvo Group Digital & IT organization.

Requirements:
  • Experience and proven ability to design, develop and implement the architecture in the Microsoft Azure platform
  • Have experience with Java and databases, for example SQL Server
  • Experience is solutions such as PaaS, and Serverless
  • Experience in mobile solutions, development experience in at least one mobile technology (Androi, iOS)
  • Understand security best practices in infrastructure, application, IAM, or data platform solutions
  • Ability to lead a team in scope of IT Architecture
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, source control tools like git and automation tools like ARM Templates

Good to have:
  • Know Microsoft tools and platforms like Active Directory, Azure, Office 365, etc.
  • Working experience with DevOps and Agile setups
  • Knowledge of MASVS/ASVS security verification standards
  • Know Volvo Group Target Architecture and EA Review and Integration Request processes – only for internal recruitment of course
