This is how you could make an impact

As a Software Engineer for the automotive purchasing portfolio, you will be involved with digitalization journey, process definitions, end user studies, stakeholder management, modeling and design ideation to find the optimal solution and requirement management of Process & IT solutions. The Software Engineer must have a good understanding of the business goals and stakeholder needs when working with a service or solution


In this role, you will be functionally reporting to the Delivery Manager, Automotive Purchasing.



Your Mission, should you accept it is

• Facilitates analysis of business processes and operations from a requirement management perspective or design concepts for a product.
• Supports business in prioritization of scope and in selecting/designing optimal Process & IT solutions based on business processes and user needs.
• Works in pre-studies, projects or in runtime delivery.
• Translate process into change requests towards IT deliverable.
• Secure and maintain complete solution documentation.
• Identifies risks regarding the functional solution from a User Experience and/or Business Analysis perspective and proposes changes in business processes, IT implementations and/or operations when necessary.
• Supports business case development by securing user focus in business value creation.

Your competencies / experiences

• Relevant university degree
• Purchasing related process knowledge is an advantage
• Understanding of business and IT needs, handle customer contact to conduct requirements elicitation
• Experience with agile methods and way of working
• A mind set for Continuous improvement, teamwork and collaboration
• Strong communication skills - both oral and written in English
