Manager Technical Services Vehicle Lyon

We support our customers’ uptime and share the customer’s perception and their actual quality performance of our products.

The Quality & Customer Satisfaction Lyon department has the responsibility to lead the quality journey for all Renault Trucks vehicles ranges and for the Volvo Trucks Medium Duty range.

By being in a back-office level 2 position, bridging the commercial and industrial organizations, our Technical Service (TS) teams:
  • support market companies, importers and helpdesks in repairing vehicles when deep technical knowledge in diagnosis and system repair is required
  • adapt and rebuild customer vehicles in central systems.
  • assist to resolve quality issues by contributing to detection, investigation, root cause analysis, containment action, repair instructions.

Main Responsibilities
  • You lead a team of 15 product specialists based in Lyon
  • You own the technical service performance towards brands, mainly measured by answer lead-time performance
  • You take the lead and initiatives on transversal actions/projects for continuous improvements in people development, processes, customer satisfaction, new technologies, etc.
For a successful performance managing this role
  • You have a master’s degree in engineering or equivalent
  • You have previous management experience for a minimum of 3 years
  • You have an experience of 10 years within engineering, aftermarket, or dealership
  • You show expertise within vehicle engineering areas
  • You are result driven and action oriented, always striving further and with a strong sense of services
  • Customer focus is a priority for you seeking to demanding markets and Customer expectations
  • You have a natural ability to build up a network and create trust
  • You know how to delegate, set priority and develop your direct reports
  • You are fluent in English and French, and eager to work with your international colleagues
