The Dynamics and CE Dealer Management Solutions department is looking for a
Delivery Leader to support the digital transformation journey in the area of Global Retail within Volvo Construction Equipment.
The scope of responsibilities include a wide range of different applications directed to implement and support Volvo CE marketing and sales strategies, with a focus on making our customer successful. On a day to day basis, you’ll lead a team of IT Architects, IT Business Analysts and Application Support Specialists which provide expertise around COTS, SaaS and PaaS solutions. Stakeholder management and vendor management are also part of the day to day experience in a very dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, inform, coordinate, distribute, implement and monitor the team's activities on a daily and regular basis to create an efficient work distribution.
- Participate in business development by carrying out work within an established area.
- Make decisions on matters related to the team delivery.
- Ensure execution, follow up and report on agreed performance indicators and targets.
- Manage deliveries according to agreed estimations on cost, time and quality.
- Secure a professional relationship with vendors and other stakeholders within the delivery organization, to ensure an efficient End-To-End delivery.
- Initiate, support, drive and implement continuous improvement activities with focus on productivity and cost-efficiency in the team.
- Establish long-term and short-term delivery/resource plans, according to the team's agreed deliveries, to meet business targets/plans, SLA etc, contributing to the Service Delivery Plan.
- Assist in the creation of agreement documents/task specifications.
- Responsible for ensuring efficient problem solving and root cause analysis within the delivery team.
- Increase quality and efficiency in delivery by working with continuous improvements from a business process perspective on a daily basis.
- Cooperate with Delivery Manager on team development and team-related administration
Experience/Training:
- Bachelor in Computer Science or any other relevant academic;
- 2 - 5 years of expertise in a similar position
- Agile or DevOps experience
- ITIL certification as an asset
Essential Skills: - Excellent communication skills
- Very good analytical and synthesis skills ;
- Good leadership and organizational skills,
- Strong ability to build relationships with various internal and external stakeholders
Wanted profile:
As the Team Leader you should have experience in leading teams and have a technical background in software development and/or IT Service Management, as well as very good understanding of CP&IT total application development framework. You are expected to create a trustful relationship with your stakeholders and with your team members. You need to demonstrate core values according to the Volvo Way and be able to contribute in implementing One Team approach within VCE deliveries between IT and the customers.
Since you are part of a global unit, with global responsibilities, you will need to actively cooperate with various stakeholders and navigate with ease in a multi-cultural environment. You also have a strong quality focus and a personal drive to reach the objectives and targets set for your unit.
