Technology is a global unit within Group IT. The mission of the unit is to ensure that the Volvo Group's IT solutions and IT projects within the area are managed in an optimal way.

Solution Center Purchasing
We are Purchasing Solution Centre within SDU working to increase efficiency through our current set of applications and modern solutions. Our existing solution and service offerings to the Procurement business in Volvo Group comprises of a mixture of varied technologies Microsoft, Java, Mainframe and Off the shelf IT solutions like SAP Ariba, Trade shift, SAP FieldGlass. We find ourselves on the cusp of a transformation with heavy investments to transform our existing portfolio. We also build mobile apps and micro services, leverage RPA and predictive data analysis and very curious about how technology can add value to our business.

Role mission & context
We are looking for a qualified team leader to manage our team and provide effective guidance. In this role, you will be responsible for managing sand motivating team members on a daily basis.

As a team leader, you will be the contact point for all team members, so communication skills should be excellent. You should also be able to act proactively to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration.

Ultimately, you should lead by setting a good example and engage the team to achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture
• Adopt and implement improved ways of working – Agile DevOps, Automation, continuous improvement initiatives etc.
• Working towards the goals of organization and meeting agreed upon SLAs and commitments
• Set clear team goals
• Delegate tasks and oversee day-to-day operation in Agile way of working
• Monitor team performance and report on metrics
• Discover training needs and provide coaching
• Listen to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts
• Recognize high performance and reward accomplishments
• Encourage creativity and innovation
• Collaborate and coordinate with partners and other teams to deliver customer success

Requirements

• Relevant university degree
• Proven work experience with potential leadership skills
• Understanding of business and IT needs
• Experience in Agile DevOps transformation and way of working
• A mind set for Continuous improvement, teamwork and collaboration
• Good team player with proactive attitude, good influencing skills, sound methodical skills, good communication skills with attention to details

• Purchasing domain and .Net/mainframe knowledge is an advantage

In this role you will be reporting to the Delivery Manager.
