We are looking for Chapter Lead Data Engineers to lead the team of data professionals who develop data pipelines and perform data analytics. You will work with the latest technology and ways of working and focus on development of your technical skills as well as grow members of your team.

We will take care of all the aspects of Data, how it is quality assured, documented, made available, prepared, and consumed through BI, Analytics and Machine Learning. This is how you could make an impact As a chapter lead you will be the line manager for our data engineers in Poland and will directly coach and develop them. You will be involved in hands-on work focusing on data analytics initiatives, from data onboarding to operationalization of advanced analytics and AI to realization, with best practice tools and methods. You will be a part of the Data Engineers Chapter management team and report to the Head of Chapter Data Engineers
These will be your responsibilities: - Build & develop skills including attract and develop talents

- Work as a practitioner in your area of expertise
- Develop the working methods for Data engineering
- Secure "external" input and best practice sharing in the community
- Manage capacity planning and new requests for Data Engineers
Who are you?We believe you want to take your career to the next level, working with amazing people around the world. To be successful in this position we believe you have a university degree or equivalent, and several years of experience as a data engineering practitioner, as well as experience of leadership in line organizations or projects.
To succeed in this role, it is beneficial if you are experienced and understand technologies for the field like databases, data lakes and data pipelines. You have knowledge in leading technologies and frameworks in for example Spark/Databricks, CD/CI, DataOps, MLOps as well as more traditional ETL approaches and tools. You are experienced in the data engineering domain development as a practitioner that keeps up to date with the latest development. It is beneficial if you have practiced and applied Machine Learning and AI Engineering from development to production ready solutions.
The right candidate will be able to think and act strategically but also to operate and implement change tactically when required, dealing effectively with ambiguity, and managing changing priorities. You should be passionate about driving strategic & technological transformation in a business focused, fact-based, and collaborative way to achieve real impact. This role requires solid communication skills and a passion for leading, inspiring, and developing people.
