Lead Verification Engineer for Battery Cell @Electromobility

The area where this team is working is Test and Verification.

What you will do

You will be working in the heart of the battery technology with the testing of the battery cells and modules. Testing will be done to understand the characteristics of different battery cells to make it possible to build accurate simulation models to build a deep understanding of battery life and other critical attributes.
You will have a very interesting job in verifying that our batteries fulfill all safety, performance and durability requirements.
The work is done in close collaboration with design teams, suppliers and other functions needing you to be interested in working in a cross-functional and international environment.
We are seeking for experienced verification engineers who will have the following main responsibilities:
  • Testing and verification of battery cells and modules. In regards of functionalities, performance, physical properties and durability.
  • Analysis and solving of complex technical problems.
  • Development of test methods and test requirements.
  • Definition of our test rig equipment needs.
  • Battery Laboratory management
Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone with a Master of Science in Power Electronics, Chemistry, Electrical and Electronics or similar. Ideally you have experience in development or testing of batteries or power electronics as well as experience in battery cell or module testing. It is an advantage to have documented experience from laboratory development or working in similar surrounding.
As a person, you should be a good communicator, your co-operation skills are essential. You can take initiatives and take pride in delivering according to your commitments and you are fluent in both written and verbal English.
