Software Engineer - .Net

Job Responsibilities,

o Application Development, Maintenance and Support.
Debug application code to analyse and solve business critical issues.
Work on support tickets and should work in support on rotational basis.
Development activities will be assigned after gaining good business knowledge.
o Understand the user requirements, analyse such requirements, development, and unit test services that support business requirements.
o Develop efficient software according to business requirements within given time frame.
o Ensure compliance with relevant IT Services processes, methods and tools, and business processes.
o Secure that the necessary and relevant review and audits are performed for the developed modules.
o Create good practices and propose improvements

Required Technical Skills :

Programming languages, technologies and general competences:
• .NET platform and proficient in C# language(although VB.NET is also used), ASP.NET MVC, WCF, Windows Forms, ASP.NET WebForms, ASP.NET WebServices.
• Microsoft Sql Server with good understanding and knowledge on database creation/design, T-SQL queries, stored procedures/views/functions.
• ORM’s : ADO.NET, nHibernate and Entity Framework.
• Web UI development and design using HTML, CSS, javascript, jquery.
• Microsoft SSRS (SQL Reporting Services) reports.
• Good knowledge on handling production issues.
• Good debugging skills.
• Good understanding on DevOps, CI/CD pipeline.
• Knowledge on IBM WebSphere MQ, Wix Tool is an added advantage.
• Knowledge on Angularjs is an added advantage.
• Good communication and team player.
• Excellent problem solving skills is required.
